Taking the tribe camping to Hayfield in the peak district. We will get up to Kinder Downfall tomorrow for some rock climbing and abseiling, then back to the pub for three to watch Everton in the FA Cup final.

It's FA cup day…
It's become a tradition for all my mates around the country to meet up and get bolloxed.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

4 hours until it's Pimms o'clock.
Hopefully BBQ weather and maybe a bit of a pootle down to the seafront on the bicycles with Mrs PL.Comment

Stay in and watch films with the missus tonight. Garden party with my mates tomorrow in the sun and the rest quiet. Monday is a holiday here but I don't work Mondays anyway! This weekend in Darmstadt is a rather large free music festival called the Schlossgrabenfest but probably won't visit as its got too big and crowded (and commercialised) from when it first started but still well worth a visit. What is interesting is that you'll get around 400-500,000 visitors most of whom will be slightly worse for wear yet there will be no trouble.“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment
