The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.” -
so you prefer to not use your skills and earn nothing then.
Okaaaaaaay
I cannot help but feel your business model is slightly flawed,
However I am not an expert and so good luckComment

Doesn't seem to bad for a support job or something similar. In fact, I know a fair few RPG programmers who would jump at that rate at the moment."See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment

in fact first rule of economics
something is only worth what someone else will pay for it
therefore you may feel you are worth £500 per day
but if people who want your skills will only pay £250 per day then you are worth £250 per day.
For example I have a slightly dented 02 reg renault megane on the drive I think it is worth £1 million pounds.
Therefore by your logic I have a million pound car on my drive.
So should I quit my contract now then?Comment

The business model is like this.... the outcome of my decisions allow my clients to save ££££££ on through life support of the equipment and all for a little outlay in the beginning. (which is large to you and me, so apologies for any offence caused) - so I determine how much my clients can afford <give away of the century people, i.e. not how much it actually costs me to do the work>
There's nothing worse in this world in a client advertising their success in a multi million pound project that's set them up for the next 10 years, then they turn around and ask me to look out for them to reduce cost of operation, which are often hugely significant in terms of £'s, and we'll pay you dribs and drabs. I'll walk out on such arrogance and have done in the past..."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

Still a bit arrogant to sniff at £250 per day no matter what you feel you are 'worth', when there are people genuinely struggling.Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.
