Anyone know of any alternative ways of studying this course? I hate the thought of 5 days of cramming in a classroom atmosphere with rushed exams at the end........5 days later and most is forgottenComment

There are providers of CBT type training.
There are study guides available.
You can probably track down sample papers.
The exams can be booked and paid for without a course.
Self study is possible, but I understand that the pass rate for pure self study candidates is lower than that for course attendees.
Please bear in mind that a Prince2 qualification doesn't teach you how to be a PM.Comment

Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - EpicurusComment

When I did mine it was in the days of essay type answers in the Practitioner exam.
I'm glad I did a course as being an experienced PM already was more of a hindrance than a help when it came to the exam as I would naturally shortcut some stages which would have lost me marks.
It's a tick in the box for CV filtering, it doesn't teach you how to be a PM, but it is actually useful as a methodology (NOT method) as a real PM.Comment

Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought: Project Management for DummiesScience isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment
