Well - I was actually really hoping he did go..... for pretty much the same reason!Originally posted by Platypus View PostIndeed! Highly amusing.
But if he were an army officer, I suspect his own men would have killed him by now for their own safety and security. Let's hope he never actually goes to Sandhurst

Agreed.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostThe quality goes down the more series there are. In series one any of top 5 would easily win this series.
I still think it has some educational value, i.e. how NOT to do a business task.
Take last night's episode.....how come not one of them thought to use the da web for a bit of research/evaluating the prices. They would probably have sold the items a lot faster by putting them on ebay as well.Comment

Anyone with a tiny bit of ability wouldn't go near this "show" - they would be too busy getting on with their career.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostThe quality goes down the more series there are. In series one any of top 5 would easily win this series.
The Apprentice is merely a platform for nursing the egos of idiots. Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - EpicurusComment

But it's all scripted for TV now innit. And Ben obviously should have gone but stayed because he's better for the ratings.Originally posted by sal626 View Post

And sell them in a day?Originally posted by sal626 View PostThey would probably have sold the items a lot faster by putting them on ebay as well.
With that kind of incisive thinking you're a dead cert to get into the next series
Hard Brexit now!

They had roughly 9 hours to sell the items.
1 hour - evaluating items
1 hour putting some items on ebay, amazon, gumtree, etc.
Get on with selling the others, if no offers from web, then take those items and sell them face to face as well.
To be honest, not sure if Ebay have a minimum time for an auction. If they do, then obviously its an issue.
But point is, it was a strategy that "could" have been considered, but wasn't...or at least we weren't shown it..Comment
