Well - I was actually really hoping he did go..... for pretty much the same reason!

          Agreed.

I still think it has some educational value, i.e. how NOT to do a business task.

Take last night's episode.....how come not one of them thought to use the da web for a bit of research/evaluating the prices. They would probably have sold the items a lot faster by putting them on ebay as well.

Anyone with a tiny bit of ability wouldn't go near this "show" - they would be too busy getting on with their career.

The Apprentice is merely a platform for nursing the egos of idiots.

But it's all scripted for TV now innit. And Ben obviously should have gone but stayed because he's better for the ratings.

Not selling anything would have been best.

And sell them in a day?
With that kind of incisive thinking you're a dead cert to get into the next series

They had roughly 9 hours to sell the items.
                    1 hour - evaluating items
1 hour putting some items on ebay, amazon, gumtree, etc.
Get on with selling the others, if no offers from web, then take those items and sell them face to face as well.

To be honest, not sure if Ebay have a minimum time for an auction. If they do, then obviously its an issue.

But point is, it was a strategy that "could" have been considered, but wasn't...or at least we weren't shown it..
