Why so far off zone 2? I usually use train to Euston when I go to London on business.

Because it's not a scummy area. Being 2 zones (and merely 25min) away from Central London is a small price to pay for 22,000 acres of parkland and good sunshine drinking by the river.

        Nonce.

                      WHS.

I go to Richmond with friends when I've been at the Army Navy (didn't manage this year, more's the pity) and it's a lovely area.
