I've actually been told to sleep outside a couple of times. Its okay in summer with a few sheets and the small tent. Wouldn't try it in winter.

I've put never. Just can't be arsed with it. Outdated tradition.

I find it surprisingly rewarding. And yes, it was a surprise when I first started thinking that.

I think it is essential that you go into it as a partnership of equals though.

But we've had 4 couples (really really close to both of us) split over the last 2 years, and at the time it was because it "just wasn't working out" etc etc, but in time we've learnt that each one of the blokes has f*kcing cheated!!

And these are all couples who've been together for like 10+ years, with kids. The kind of proper established couples who always seemed happy.

I been together over 10 years, I got 2 kids and I can see how people (Note it's not just men that cheat - I know a few women who have as well).

Should that mean the end of a relationship? I dunno, depends on the people and the circumstances - lot's of couple get over things like that. All relationships hit a rocky patch at some point. Bit hysterical to go fckin cheating men etc. Lot's of times it isn't quite as black and white as that.

Seriously thou BBG & I have been together for 19 years with only 4 arguments so marriage was likley, it was the right time for us.

Marriage is not for all & means different things to different people.
