I find it just fine. A phone to me is just to make/receive calls. End of story. A basic phone would suit me, but there isn't anything made these days that hasn't got a degree of bells and whistles!

Aye! My best phone was Nokia 8xxx something which was very small back in 2000 - paid £200 for it as well, but it was best in all respects apart from lacking colour screen - every other phone after that was just road downhill

I've got a W910i. OK phone, better than the Motorolla it replaced, but next phone will be a Nokia or an iPhone (maybe new slimline model...)

First thing I did was get it 'debranded' and unloaded all the Vodafone rubbish and replaced it with the original Sony Ericsson firmware. On start up the CPU still struggled to play the animation, which for me was an initial indication that the phone was going to be pants and I was right.

T9 predictive SMS (ala Nokia) is the only one I've ever got on with.

Can't answer your question, but if you get a chance, try the ring tones volume. My Sony Ericsson can be barely heard even on full volume compared with some phones.

And the vibrate is almost non-existant

I had a k800i and wuite liked it - the joystick thing on it can be a pain though as it tends to wear out pretty quickly.

Girly has a W810i. Which is like the K810i except it is better for music, the K is better for pictures.

Predictive text is darned good, and as we're always chatting to extended family all over the world, have found swapping languages, even mid-text, is very easy.

She's stuck an extra memory card in there. She says it's a big one.

I've used it for ad-hoc recordings and it has a good microphone and good playback.

She's just got the user guide out of it's wrapping, for the first time, and as she's owned the phone for over a year now, I'd say that means it's very easy to use.
