The difference in police operation between the two semi finals is patently clear to those of us who attended both games.
I am sick and tired of the comments and opinions of ill informed people such as cyberman.
It is also clear that the decision of the coroner to decide the cut off point for people not surviving the disaster be set at 3.06 pm on that day because many eye witnesses and people who gave first aid state they were giving first aid ie mouth to mouth resucitation as late as 3.35
The police also only let one ambulance into the ground despite calling for a fleet to attend the ground after 3.06pm
I am not a lawyer so it is not my say on how justice can seen to be done. Far far finer legal minds can do that.
But, I want justice to review the whole decision to use 3.06 pm as a cut off point, the point at which because of the coroner's decision, Lord Taylor's enquiry could not look at whether people were alive after that time.
Justice will also give an answer to why the police allowed only one of a fleet of ambulances into the ground.
Justice will also answer why the police got it so badly wrong in 1989 compared to 1988. And in case anyone thinks 1989 was a one off, there had been several near misses at other semi finals involving the Leppings Lane terrace.
Justice will also answer why the police in charge considered Liverpool fans were fighting each other rather than fighting for their lives and having the life crushed out of them.
Justice will answer why police didnt take any action regarding the 4 pens on the Leppings Lane terrace, particularly why the two centre pens were packed solid yet the two end ones were less than half full. Oh and the police observation box was right above the main stand side of the Leppings Lane terrace.
Justice may answer why the police didnt ask for the kick off to be delayed 20 to 30 mins.
Justice may also bring those responsible for the disaster to book, including that tory bastard david evans mp and kelvin mckenzie who used a national news paper to perpetuate lies and printing stories that Liverpool fans robbed their own dead and attacked the police.
I could go on but justice is what we want and we wont 'let it lie' after 25 years if nothing is done either.
People need to realise this was a disaster in which 96 people died and another survivor is in a virtual PVS.
The likes of cyberman with his attempts to brush blame on to Liverpool fans is ignorant, petty and downright disgusting.
To those who say let it lie, why should we? Should people associated with the lockerbie bombing let it lie? Should the victims of some of the bombings in Northern Ireland (Inneskillen?) let it lie?
How crass are some of you people?
The need for justice has no time limit and rightly so.I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!Comment

You clearly forgot at least the belgians did use the justice process and have a full and proper enquiry.
Amongst those being held responsible were UEFA, the Heysel stadium authority, the Belgian Police and yes, culpable Liverpool fans.

A further enquiry will just be a waste of taxpayer's money. We already pay enough through benefits to the population of Liverpool without wasting more.Comment

It makes me very sad to watch this video.

The aftermath of the Hillsborough Disaster and there was thorough discrediting of reporting in The Sun and the rest of the murdoch media. What happened on this day 20 years ago was the result of appalling mismanagement by the policeComment

It's clearly obvious now. You are a prize tw@t and I honestly hope I have the pleasure of meeting you in person one day."I hope Celtic realise that, if their team is good enough, they will win. If they're not good enough, they'll not win - and they can't look at anybody else, whether it is referees or any other influence." - Walter Smith
