did easy 8k yesterday after work - took about 50 minutes and was very nice - not too tired after it.

But I can play 90 mins of 11 a side, or an hour of 5's or a couple of hours of squash, or snowboard for 8 hours ....

I'm better than dirt. Well, most kinds of dirt, not that fancy store-bought dirt... I can't compete with that stuff.Comment

Normally around 30 mins but you don't have that...
So will try to reach the puking stage of 50 mins...
(It took me 3hrs 5 mins to do a half marathon - and yes I did after that too...)"I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

I can run for about 10 minutes before I have to stop. But after getting my breath back for a minute I can go again. I can hike or cycle for hours though!
The thing is, I am 16 and ahalf stone due to weight-training and some extra padding so that makes it hard going. But I am pretty fit overall.
Tip: Run on grass if u want to prevent long term knee injuries. (Not the grass u smoke!)

A friend of mine completed an 'Iron Man' she (yes she) done something like a 6 mile swim, 120 mile bike ride and then a marathon... consecutively.Originally posted by minestrone View PostMy friend once ran a 100 mile race.
When I asked how tough it was she said the swim was the hardest followed by the cycling, she was glad to get off the bike and was relieved to only have the marathon left!!
I get sweaty walking down to the local shops.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

The fear of knowing that this was approaching made me fight the boredom and get out jogging. I've now done 3 and the London marathon. If I didn't keep putting these challenges in front of me, I know I'd end up in pretty bad condition. If at first you don't succeed... skydiving is not for you!Comment

I used to be very fit....but then I was only 9 pounds 7. Things have gone pear shaped over the past 40 yearsRule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.
