There is no law about that.

However since she took on herself to highlight and plight of cancer victims it seemed to make sense to donate to charities given how she milked her situation - she appears to have made a donation but in my view it is totally spiteful: profits from future publication that may or may not sell, and even worse - this publication is not about cure for cancer but just yet another publicity about her.

I am hardly suprised even though I thought she might make at least some good action for a change, but clearly she was too greedy or stupid or both to do that.

      AtW, have you got children?

She has done exactly the right thing by her kids, and what at least 95% of other people would do and endorse.

And that's without taking into consideration these kids' prospects otherwise - their mother was of low intelligence, an unpleasant character, and is now dead, and their father is a violent yob who will likely spend his life in and out of jail.

As far as I'm aware, she did not complain that the reason she died was because the cancer charities didn't have enough money to provide the financial means to find a cure, or didn't do their bit in general.

She left a trust fund for her children, her priority, raised cervical cancer awareness, and the profit from her book, which will be considerable, is going to be donated to charity.

Sorry, but I don't see any wrongdoing there at all.
        I agree.

She may have been thick as mince but she was not a bad lass.

Listen, I am not saying she should not have left money for chilreden - of course she should have. But how much money children will need?

I wonder how much exactly she "earned" in the period of this hysteria about her illness - if anything she should have pledged a %-tage of that amount since she directly profited from this publicity.

Unlike most cancer victims she had lots of money (that in my view were totally unearned but that's another matter), if she gave a tulip about children of many other mothers who can't left them cash then she'd make a sizeable cash donation to relevant charities. Instead it appears all she did was to promise profits from future book sale about her! If this is the only donation she did then it just confirms my previous view that she is just a spiteful piece of tulip: I certainly hope her children won't be anything like her.

I am sure that when SKA works out and you sell it for 500 million you will cure cancer with the money.

If I had cancer and had any decent money I'd certainly do that: 1000% if I was a high profile case who "raised awareness".

FYI I had £100 donated to UK cancer research sometime ago, not a lot, but then again I earned my money.

Only Gordon Brown can spend 1000% of money available.
