Its a little known fact,
if you put all the worlds mobile phones into a single point, the power output would be one millionth of a single one of the radars at FylingDales(\__/)

2.5 Megawatts output by FylingDales radar? Not if the phones are turned on and have a weak signal, outputting 2 Watts each.
A heap of mobile phones is interesting though. At some point the heat they generate would force the pile to go critical and explode. Especially if they are a long way from a base station. It would make a bit of a racket if they all rang together too.Comment

It is not well known,
but animals suffer from tooth decay and other dental problems almost as much as humans.
In California, wealthy pet owners are responsible for more dogs and cats wearing braces, than humans wear in the whole of New York state

Cats under general anaesthetic? That's got to be a sight to see.Originally posted by Pogle View PostI've had several expensive visits to the vet to have various ungrateful moggies get their teeth cleaned - under anaesthetic of course
My golden retriever (Millie) hates going to the vet to get her teeth done - anything else she's remarkably calm but she hates the vet having a go at her teeth.Comment

Never! For no other reason than (a) they don't need 'em and (b) the dog would probably rip the vets arm off for trying.Originally posted by EternalOptimist View Postyes, but would you ever have braces fitted to the dogs teeth ? sounds a bit mad to me

I'd suggest that the dogs this is being done to are very very very very small dogs?Comment
