      Had it done on honeymoon (!) after I had got an ear infection and went deaf. It is incredible how much can fit in there

Apply with a dropper and lie down with that ear uppermost for 5 mins, then do the other one while the first one drains. The oil softens the wax and ecourages it to come out of the ear.

              I've had it done a few times and its never been a problem. Just use Earex for 3 days and then go to the docs and the nurse will do it for you. After days of being deaf in one ear you can hear ants rushing around after its great.

              One thing is the stuff that comes out is disgusting

                I got one of those in Italy, and use it whenever the build up is too much. The relief of suddenly being able to hear... mmmm
