Yeah! I was pretty embarrased.... but it was worth it for the look of admiration on her face...... Oh Sorry you meant EarWax! -
Had it done on honeymoon (!) after I had got an ear infection and went deaf. It is incredible how much can fit in there
Feels great afterwards. Do it."Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny. "

You'll never take me alive copper.Originally posted by DaveB View PostUnless it's affecting your hearing the wax quite normal. If you're worried about it try using a few drops of warm (body temp) olive oil in ear ear. Apply with a dropper and lie down with that ear uppermost for 5 mins, then do the other one while the first one drains. The oil softens the wax and ecourages it to come out of the ear.

You can get something called "swim ear" which contains (I think) hydrogen peroxide which has this effervescing effect.Originally posted by expat View PostIn the US they have stuff (glycerine?) with an effervescing agent.Comment

I've had it done a few times and its never been a problem. Just use Earex for 3 days and then go to the docs and the nurse will do it for you. After days of being deaf in one ear you can hear ants rushing around after its great.
One thing is the stuff that comes out is disgusting

I got one of those in Italy, and use it whenever the build up is too much. The relief of suddenly being able to hear... mmmmOriginally posted by expat View Post... In France, you can go to the phramacy and buy a "Poire", a rubber bulb with a tube, that you fill with warm water and use to syringe your own ears (after a period of cleaning wth oil). ...Down with racism.
