There is a peculiar breed of contractor who adores such conditions. They are the members of the Programme Management Office. They sit on a contract for year after year after year
It'a a risk based decision innit? Do I take the extension with a strong possibility of extending again and again, or do I take a new contract and take the risk of no extension in 3 or 6 months.
