I agree with MTT though - there are a few people on here who can make interesting points. I just wish they'd log in a bit more often

And yep as a nation we are definitely getting thicker - probably because there aren't any thick people any more. They all have some kind of bogus medical condition now ......
You don’t fail an exam; you achieve ‘deferred success’.

Nobody’s thick, some people just have ‘special learning requirements’.

Anyone who’s semi-literate claims to be dyslexic. Now I’m not having a go at people who genuinely suffer from dyslexia, but are there really that many of you?

The latest wheeze; active, mischievous children are said to have ‘ADHD’.

Kid in my street has ADHD. Apparently that means his folks qualify for a disabled parking.

When I were a lad, they were probably known as irritating noisy gits who won't leave you alone.

How many power mad bosses does that remind you of?

Damnit Ratewhore I was going to knick Mitch's classic line as a sig quote too, but you got there first.

I'll have to settle for yours

I was a hyperactive little bastard, always in trouble, riding my Raleigh boxer down elevators and so on, but my parents realised that a combination of lots of sports, a move up one year at school and plenty of good books calmed me down.

Many of those kids are just bored and desperate for something interesting to do.

                  Ah! Nothing's changed then Mitch

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

I’m big enough to actually pick up a Raleigh boxer these days. Remember those things? They looked like a BMX but weighed more than the children who rode them. If you fell off you could starve trapped under the damn things.

I must start a thread on this.
