i know milk comes in different fat contents
i know the fat content of skimmed, semi-skimmed etc. from using google

but what nowhere that i can google seems to tell me is the fat content of Whole Natural Pasteurised Milk which is the blue labelled Whole Milk you get in Tesco or Sainsburys.. the full fat stuff, the unhealthy one, the real proper milk with no fiddling of fat content.. what is that fat content?

All i can find is that "no fat is added or removed" which is great, but what % fat is that?

does anyone have a pint of milk to hand, wouldnt it say on the plastic bottle?

      thanks

"Natural whole milk is milk with nothing added or removed."

      so what % is that?

not the "Whole standardised milk is whole milk standardised to a minimum fat content of 3.5%." as that is obviously 3.5%

It seem it varies according to species, breed, condition of the animal, whether it is in calf etc.

Do your own research on teh itnernets maybe.

Sysman may have something: you may be getting UHT. Most of the rest of Europe seems to think that's acceptable.

And what the cow has eaten. Maybe it's the delicate tang of sheep's brains that you are missing?
