I remember reading a wee Hindu story of the creator Brahmin, apparently the Universe as we know it is merely a dream projection or Hologram of Brahmin and when he awakes the Universe - well it will be as if we never existed at all.

Now heres the rub -it turns out that the Day of Brahamin ( I think the call it Kulpas or cycles) works out at about 6-7 Billion years old - so right now we have almost completed the Day of Brahamin - which means - MY GOD WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE !!!!
Or the Day of Noel Coward?

    Noel Coward was a charmer.
As a writer he was brahma.
    Velvet jackets and pyjamas,
"the gay divorce" and other dramas.

I have read the T&C's and it definately does not state that threads must have a point.
Blooming heck , if things had to have a point, my post count would be about 10.

      maybe 9

      Well fair enough then.

          What do you think?

Some say that the Universe is a Hologram - Im still absorbing the concept - altough I can understand if I relate back to Day of the Brahamin - the Universe being a dream or projection of the Brahamin - which you could consider perhaps a Hologram.

Perhaps the Ego automatically rejects the notion of the Void - the complete destruction of all energy in the Cosmos(es) but then again Death is an illusion- for that which was never born can never die.

Certalinly Time is not what we think it is.

          Time for a Cuppa.

Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.

              Time for a Cuppa.
Time, time, time, see whats become of me
              While I looked around
              For my possibilities
I was so hard to please
But look around, leaves are brown
And the sky is a hazy shade of winter

              Hear the salvation army band
Down by the riverside, its bound to be a better ride
              Than what youve got planned
Carry your cup in your hand
And look around, leaves are brown now
And the sky is a hazy shade of winter

Hang on to your hopes, my friend
Thats an easy thing to say, but if your hopes should pass away
              Simply pretend
That you can build them again
Look around, the grass is high
The fields are ripe, its the springtime of my life

Ahhh, seasons change with the scenery
              Weaving time in a tapestry
Wont you stop and remember me
              At any convenient time
Funny how my memory slips while looking over manuscripts
              Of unpublished rhyme
              Drinking my vodka and lime

But look around, leaves are brown now
And the sky is a hazy shade of winter

              Look around, leaves are brown
Theres a patch of snow on the ground...

No I just mean that if it is what we perceive then it is not reality. Not as I see it

                  Time

I just looked at my watch it said 12:25 - I think Thank God !

                  We're still alive !!!

                  My God
                  we're looking Old
                  We shall freeze
                  and catch a cold
Cos we left out coats behind

                  (Take your Time)

                  Breaking up is hard
                  but keeping dark is hateful

I had so many dreams... I had so many breakthroughs
                  But you,
                  My love,
                  were kind

                  but love has left you

                  dreamless ...

The door to dreams was closed

                  your park

                  was real dreamless

                  Perhaps youre smiling now
                  Smiling through this darkness

But all I had to give
                  - was the guilt for dreaming

We should be on by now
We should be on by now
We should be on by now

There’s a simple test of whether what you observe is perception or reality. Hit yourself hard on your toe with a hammer. Now try to avoid percieving pain.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

This is related to my suggested test for those who believe that evolution is "only a theory" and has no factual basis: try walking off a cliff. Gravitation is only a theory.
