    Must admit *computer problem* is a weaksauce excuse.

    You can do an online VAT return from ANY computer on the internet.

    Home PC, internet Cafe, office, your mother-in-laws Packard-Bell Pentium100!

      But could you do so six years ago, when this happened? I'm pretty sure online filing of VAT returns wasn't available then.

          But you could always throw the paperwork at a good book keeper and get a VAT return done in next to no time.
