I always preferred the Kofte kebabs. Added bonus is that they are dead easy to make at home as well

I had some in Deutschland a few weeks ago, with salad. I find brawn goes very well with beetroot.

The same could be said for kebab meat. It's no coincidence that several pints of lager are required prior to it becoming a viable food option.
Is that to provide a disinfected stomach for the resulting food to safely co-exist within ?

Basically, an alcohol swab before eating ?

It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I put some beetroot on too. I have noticed a couple or so little pink dots on my lovely white shirt though.

              Nothing to worry about, PD.

It's the little red dots that should concern you.

Did it make your piss turn red?

It also helps to subdue the body's natural defences so that the full benefit of the food can be absorbed without being hindered.

I eat a lot of beetroot and even though I’ve heard this tale from lots of people I’ve never pissed red. Maybe I have some special enzyme in my gut that breaks down red dyes. Maybe it’s just an urban myth.

Is the only defence against that to cover yourself completely in mud?
