With the newer consoles, fitting a chip involves getting a Dremel and grinding away part of an existing chip on the PCB to expose the pins you need to connect the chip to. Not a DIY job I'd like to attempt!ǝןqqıʍComment

Yes definitely software mod. You just need to install this homebrew channel.
You need a copy of Zelda to install the homebrew channel (there is some save game file which causes the machine to reboot and run some code). C++ is so good for things like that
I think you may be able to load games over a network, not tried though!Comment
