    Best paid role ever?

    Data Migration Consultant
    Location: Kent

Data Migration Specialist needed for an immediate start. My public sector client is at the initial stages of a migration from Access 97 database and Foxpro to Access 2000. I am a data migration specialist, but I see no need to take a cut in rate

I can do that. Feet up on the desk, cup of coffee and a spot where I can 'oversee', do 5 minutes of teting per day and any immediate problems are identified.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

The offshorers will do it but you will carry the can and you'll have to fix it.

NO, you only have to ‘oversee’ the bloody mess they make; the hands on bit is open to interpretation.

yep you just distance yourself from there undoubted cock ups as long as you really did "tell them" what they were doing was crap, offered a solution and have let the project manager know then its all good.......

            or so you'd think
"I'm more of a warrior than you'll ever be. I believe in the class war. I believe in the battle of the sexes. I believe in my tribe. I believe in the righteous, inteligent clued-up section of society against the brain-dead moronic masses as well as the mediocre, soulless bourgeoisie. I believe in punk rock. In northern soul. In acid house. In mod. In rock and roll. I also believe in pre commercial righteous, rap and hip hop. Thats my manifesto"

I can see it happening now. They pay you half an hour a month to oversee it, on a fixed price basis. When it all goes to pot, you get to do the entire job yourself.
