I've flown on internal flights in Nigeria; it's an adventure. The exhilaration of feeling truely 'alive' when you get off is probably unmatched by any so-called dangerous sport. And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014 -

Instead of choosing the most confortable, safe and luxurious airline, I'm going to try the one with the worst safety record next time.

Finest car in the world=BMW, that's a bit vague and certainly untrue. These days could probably win ugliest and most common cars in the world. The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

Nothing comes even close. Perfection on wheels.
Anyone who has driven one will know what I mean. It's like the rest of the world is 1000 yrs behind in terms of steering feel, handling and ride comfort.Comment

Oh dear other than the M3 the 3 series is common, boring and overpriced. I'd rather have something more exclusive, like a MondeoOriginally posted by DimPrawn View PostBMW 3 series definately is the best all round car in the world.

I’ve been looking for a replacement car; second hand, about 2 years old.
I quite like the inside of the 5 series, but when I test drove one I didn’t like the fact that nobody would let me out of a side road, or let me into the outside lane to overtake. I also have bad memories of the incompetent arrogant dealer when I had a 3 series and it took him 6 visits to figure out why it wouldn't idle properly.
I tried out an Audi A6 last week; very nice car indeed except that the suspension was so bloody hard it shook out my fillings.
I tried a Mercedes E-class. Nice enough, but idiotically priced and the suspension was the opposite of the Audi; rather like a marshmallow.
Actually the BMW 5 is the one I prefer, but I wouldn’t walk around with a t-shirt that says ‘hit me I’m a banker', so I still have a slight mental block about buying one.
I’ll take a look at a Citroen C6 this weekend. Looks nice, we’ll see how it drives. And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment

No, I'm sure it's good but I don't really like SUVs. Just not my style. I'm really looking forward to trying out the Citroen. I'll probably end up with another Alfa 166, but it's worth looking around.Originally posted by milanbenes View PostMich,
