Except german stuff isn't always superior - of all the people I know with BMWs every one has needed unscheduled maintenance.

Personally I got rid of my BMW in favour of an Alfa 166, which wasn’t particularly well built, but beautiful and very enjoyable to drive when it worked. If only it had been built in Germany.

Germans do not manufacture anything that is vital to our lives that cannot be bought elsewhere. Music, film, arms and cricket are much more important than anything that Germany produces.
