I think the bans are for three years, not ten or more

Well, I guess that confirms what many if not most of us think of "contractor79".

      ...if confirmation was still needed.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - Epicurus

I bet you'd be all over them like a rash if they were gay black thugs dissing you for being straight and white. You'd probably expect the Police to do something about it.
That's gay black thugist. They've all got mums as well, you know.

There was nothing sung that I would feel comfortable in repeating, nor could any of it be transcribed here without an insta-banning.

the song they referred to on the news was the Judas one, having found out the words that's not racist. People must be thinking of other songs, I don't like racist songs.

The song in question is the Judas one, I don't agree it's racist. The PC brigade have jumped on the bandwagon because Sol's black. That's more racist in my eyes.

The song would be deemed offensive though, so the fans singing it will still be in the merde. It starts:

"sol sol where ever you may be
you're one step away from lunacy
                    but we won't give a ****
                    ...More offensive line...
                    ...More offensive line..."

They were also chanting "You're only here to see the Sailors" which I think is quite a funny chant. And before you all jump on the 'Oh my god you're homophobic...' bandwagon. I was in the Navy and I don't find it offensive they were implying that I used to bat for the other side (I don't).

What the papers aren't picking up on are the same fans giving Jermain Defoe big cheers and applause in the same game. It's got nothing to do with colour and all to do with the fact that Sol left Spurs for Arsenal. Football stadiums are not for the easily offended.
"I hope Celtic realise that, if their team is good enough, they will win. If they're not good enough, they'll not win - and they can't look at anybody else, whether it is referees or any other influence." - Walter Smith

On them! On them! They fail!

I hope they will be permanent. Like the prison sentence. That would stop any repeat offences.
