So they did actually work, but no one believed a word of it

You lot don't half talk a load of pants. Just try doing what you say, that is assuming you actually understand what you're saying.

I've seen inside a detector van. There were a couple of old newspapers, a pair of old jeans and a dirty T-shirt. Other than that it was completely empty. It was just a van.

I know that but my telly licence pays for BBC radio. We spell licence (the noun) with a c here in the UK by the way.

Last time I was in the UK, I said "I'll have another half-litre of beer".

              - "We call them "pints" here sir".

When I was at school, we connected a directional aerial to a tv, and pointed it at a ZX81 plugged into another tv. We got the picture that was displayed on the ZX81's TV, from quite a distance.

Well, duh, of course you would. It has a transmitter to make the signal for the tv it was plugged into.

Jeez, you people are really just a jumped up typing pool, and a pretty pathetic one at that.

Quite so, that is my point. To be tediously plodding, my point is that too many people adopt the US usage.

What's the "moron" bit about? I mean, if you're saying the same thing as me, and I'm a moron, then.... er......

Write a letter of complaint to Crapita and tell them the guy barged in without your consent. Also tell them the next guy that comes around will be set upon by your Zimbabwean Ridgeback, and after the dog has finished having sex with the pimp he will bite his nuts off.

What ever evidence he collected wont be usable in court because, well there was no search warrant and it wasnt carried out by the police*

                      Mailman

                      * Always consult a real lawyer because even though what many here are saying makes sense, as you and everyone else knows...justice is blind to common sense.
