The British National Party is an ethno-nationalist party. We are very pleased to work closely with members of other ethnic groups who share our desire to preserve our separate racial and cultural identities. But separate identities are not preserved by building integrationist institutions, including political parties. To do so would turn us into another cog in the global liberal capitalist identity-destroying machine, part of the old problem, not part of the new solution. For that reason (and because maintaining our stance as the defenders of an ethnically-defined British family of nations gives our members protection from unfair dismissal at work under Racial Discrimination Laws) we do not have, and will not have, any non-white or Muslim members.
From a BNP press release, 7th April 2006 - link to archive.org as the BNP's own site has been temporarily truncated "due to a large number of visitors".
Do they ban anyway who gets a suntan while on holiday?
As far as I am aware, there is no such thing as a party that has a manifesto any person agrees 100% with.
We all pick and choose a party who ticks the specific manifesto boxes that we agree with.
For example, a potential voter might choose the Conservative Party for their manifesto on Health and Education because those 2 subjects are important to them. They may not agree with their policies on Policing, Defence or Green issues.
If they voted for the Conservative party, would that make them a 100% Conservative voter ? Or Part-Conservative ?
In the same way, the BNP have a manifesto on all subjects. It doesn't necessarily mean the a potential voter agrees with ALL their manifesto points, but DOES agree with 2,3 or whatever.
It is conceivable that a potential BNP voter might agree with all their policies, except for those concerning repatriotism.
Just because someone is on the list, doesn't necessarily follow that they agree with the policies that may be racially divisive.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

"Well, I agree with improving local bus services, and it would be great to have more discipline in schools... I'm not so sure about gassing all the Jews, but I suppose you can't have everything your own way..."
I know lots of people are pretty dumb, but you ought to give them some credit for understanding the implications of their decisions.
Patels? None.
Mohammed (or variant of)? None
Singh? None
In fact I'm not seeing any remotely asian looking names on there.
I never said there would be. All I was saying is that the fears that some BNP voters have are closely aligned to other minority members of the community. It's not only BNP members that are strongly against more immigration, but also asians and blacks. :
Quite ironic (at least I think so) that Mr Griffen and his cohorts are willing to appeal to the Human Rights Act (an act they oppose). Actually, if they cared for their membership they should be producing 1000s of "doctored" lists with names and adddresses from telephone directories, and publishing these lists over the web. Then, no employer could sack an employee for belonging to the BNP, as so many names on the lists wouldn't actually be those of members. Disinformation.
Speaking gibberish on internet talkboards since last Michaelmas. Plus here on Twitter
I do now have dual nationality - although joining the likes of you as a citizen is pretty scary!
you would think so....
I gathered that you were Welsh, but surely Welsh people want jobs, so I don't understand your attitude. I don't think the majority would be too happy to be slung on the dole to provide a job for a foreigner, but perhaps you know different. As the recession bites we will find out their true attitudes.
They certainly did not like the English buying holiday homes in Wales did they!!

I know some voters who cherry-pick the bits they want out of a party.
They couldn't care less on the other bits. These bits are not important to them. They may affect them, such as joining the EU, but to be honest, there's not a lot they can do about it, and the other policies far outweigh joining the EU to them.
All I'm saying is that membership of party does not necessarily make a person a racist, no more than carrying a gun makes someone a murderer.
People choose the policies that suit them.

But that would then open them to a whole raft of libel cases for labelling people as BNP members when they weren't.
And potentially breaching the DPA.
Apart from that, it's a great idea - I've got Nick Griffin's mobile number if you want to give him a bell...
