And how on earth can a bunch of dimwits with ak47's manage to board a huge ship with probably 10 meter-high side walls. The ship's cook could pour boiling water on them as they climb the sides.

A more interesting question is why didn't the Americans and Europeans stop their fishermen going down there with industrial trawlers and destroying the countries fishing economy and basically doing everything in their power to encourage these guys to become pirates?
