I shall be buying it tomorrow whilst "working from home".
Xbox, as I haven't got a PS3"See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment

Yup - PC every time. Those gay little console controllers are for N00bers.
Real gamers use a mouse and keyboard. And know that you run faster with the knife...Comment

I laugh out loud at the peeps in this pole that voted they do not care.
ffs you are Computer Contractors, aka uber geeks.
It's 360 all the way. No one in a contract I have worked on in the last 24 months has owned up to owning a PS3.
Are you who voted do not care that much under the thumb?Comment

Erm PC!!
£10 cheaper and you get to use a mouse and keyboard (Which is the only way to play first person shooters).
It's a no brainer!!
Agreed 100%.
Better graphics, better sound, better control with a PC.
I have no idea why consoles proliferate as much as they do.
Using a console to play a game is a bit like using a lump of wood to play golf.Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Look BGG when you can get it for £60, why pay £300 for it and trust me it does the same thing. It might be prettier if you got the bucks but when you just want value there is no real competition.
But I would strongly advocate that you are not getting true value, because you are getting an essentially "dumbed down" experience with the console, and not experiencing the game in its entirety as the creator intended.
There are some graphics cards out there which alone cost more than a console, and are capable of producing amazing effects which enhance the gaming experience.
A good game is the sum of all its parts, and if a game is handicapped by hardware, then you are not getting the best out of the game.Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It used to be a real PITA to get games to run reliably on PC's. Is that still the case? I gave up on PC games when the PS2 came out and now have a PS3 which I thought was the dogs dangly bits. Very impressed by the PS3.Public Service Posting by the BBC - Bloggs Bulls**t Corp.
