PS. Not really, MM does not in any way endorse the burning of anybody for their religious beliefs.
PPS the previous PS may have suggested that MM endorses the burning of people. This is not the case. Mostly.

The usual sacrificing of a virgin schoolboy to the gods of darkness. How cruel! I hear you say, but how else will the sun rise again in Spring?

They don’t tend to burn very well; must be all that rain and cups of tea.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

I would have thought the blood alcohol level would have kept us burning for ages....

Well, just to be sure, don’t go drinking too much whiskey tonight. Stick to the low level stuff like beers and wines and you won’t be very combustible. Also, avoid baked beans, cabbage or onions and you’ll be fine.

Providing you with an opportunity to shout ‘woo’ and ‘wee’ and ‘whoop’ while watching fireworks to commiserate with that guy who tried his best to blow up parliament.

This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious as to just how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so ordinary and plain that you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is highly unusual though. Study it and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any coaching!
