I don't think so... I think what they did was downright rude and bad manners. But thats just my opinion.

If the show was pre-recorded, isn't the producer the one to blame it was broadcast? Of course even it wasn't aired, they are still responsible for the calls in the first place.

Interesting point of view. Imagine, if you will, that someone you have had sex with phoned up your grandparents and told them. They they phoned them back suggesting to them they may have to hang themselves. Then imagine that your grandparents were upset and offended by the whole thing.

Maybe you might be less flippant as a result!!

Not trying to be flippant ratewhore, I find their actions boorish and inexcusable, and I've no doubt as to the depth of the upset felt by her grandparents.

My point is, what does she expect the police to do about it if the underlying facts (no matter how coarsely they were conveyed) are correct. Libel is out. Defamation of character, considering the admission and her chosen profession, unlikely. I just doubt the police would be interested. It's not a crime, per se, to say you've f***ed someone (especially if it's true).

While I agree that Ross and Brand were a bit stoopid in their actions which were really offensive - I can't help thinking that its being blown right out of proportion. It is a diversion from the doom and gloom about the economy right enough.

Heard on the radio today that the grand-daughter has appointed Max Clifford as her publicist. Now why would she do that?
