I've been toying with the idea for years but the idea of my eyes being sliced up is a little scary... being able to see is pretty important after all. I'd rather lose my legs or man-parts (or both!) than my eyes...

Yes, we've cover it before. There are basically two types of surgery. One done on the surface of the cornea and another that is done underneath a thin corneal flap.Comment

There are experimental techniques than can relieve the symptoms of presbyopia, but they aren't all that effective or long lasting.Comment

Yep, I’ll stick to being a four eyes too; really, specs are a very minor inconvenience, so it isn’t worth even a tiny risk to the eyes to get this surgery done.And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment
