I susually put some obscure bug in the system which will pop up 3 weeks later so they call me in to fix it, which of course takes about a week of "advanced diagnostics" at increased rates for a short term contract.Comment

Spend the morning exploratory testing and hopefully find a great big juicy bug that delays implementation and gets everyone's contract extended.

Spend the morning sorting out my time sheets and other paperwork. Pop round everyone saying goodbye. Invite everyone to my desk for cakes and drinkies that I have thoughtfully provided. Bugger off at lunch time.I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Get your time sheet signed asap.
Copy anything useful onto USB device
Remove as much as poss from any client PC I've used.
Make nice with anyone who could be useful in the future

I remove all my personal items from the PC (copies of CVs, emails to friends, pictures I've downloaded, MSN history, browser history, bookmarks etc)Cooking doesn't get tougher than this.Comment
