It’s speculation again and has no relevance to the true value. Interestingly, the head of OPEC was on tv today. A very educated and experienced man who once worked for Exxon. He said the oil price hike was totally caused by speculation and investors has spent 30 billion dollars pushing up the price of oil.

Agree - Forex trading will be IMMENSE especially as we are meant to see another 50 point cut in two weeks on Interest Rate - Although if we DO see $1.50 that will be scary; however it will more than likely bounce back to the usual $1.85 over the coming months as the doom followers subsideOriginally posted by Paddy View PostIt’s speculation again and has no relevance to the true value. Most likely, the rate cut has been priced in by the markets over the last 2 days. So yes, it is possible we will see a bounce.Originally posted by Liability View PostAgree - Forex trading will be IMMENSE especially as we are meant to see another 50 point cut in two weeks on Interest Rate - Although if we DO see $1.50 that will be scary; however it will more than likely bounce back to the usual $1.85 over the coming months as the doom followers subside'Orwell's 1984 was supposed to be a warning, not an instruction manual'. -

"Usual" is a matter of perspective, it was "usually" much lower than $1.85 in the 10 years before it was $1.85 (approx 1993-2003).Originally posted by Liability View Postit will more than likely bounce back to the usual $1.85Comment

How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
