I'll start.

Working part-time for strathclyde transport as a student, standing at a bus stop in the sticks for 12 hours noting the time buses arrived and how many people got on and off. In the middle of winter.

My ma dressing me up in a purple velvet suit at primary school, and getting a picture of it as evidence. Then trotting it out to any girlfriend that ever came round.

Absolutely. Some kind of record, usually old Spanish colonies have some impressive crumbling architecture right in the centre, and good street and cafe life: but G City was a huge ugly concrete sprawl with no apparent reason for being there. In a beautiful country.

• Working on the line in a hospital food production plant... luckily it was only 2 days
• Jade Goody (and her mother if she counts)
• I wouldn't wear anything like that so don't have one
• People who talk too much, use 20 words when 2 will do, talk too loudly and stand too close when talking to you
• London is the only place which I don't look forward to visiting. Its just such a pain in the arse getting around anywhere. And since my last visit I've decided that its got a higher concentration of weirdos than other cities I've been to

• Cleaner in a tobacco factory in Southampton. I had to wash my clothes every day when I got in I stank so much. I lasted 5 days, but I did get enough money to go sailing for a week.
• I don't care enough to have anti-favourites. But, if pushed, I'd have to say Cliff Richard.
• That multi-coulored stuff from the late 80's
• Lying
• North Africa. Specifically Tunis and Cairo - primarily for the people there.

When I was a kid I had matching orange tie dye t-shirt and shorts. Fortunately nobody ever took any photographs.

Dullness

* Worst place you've ever visited
This is kind of the best and worst place I've ever visited - did some of the First World War cemeteries when I was at school. It really hits you when there's graves stretching in all four directions as far as the eye can see what a waste of life it was.
