* Worst Job :
I once got an agency job during Uni at a car finance firm. My job was to chase up money from the families of people who had died, by ringing up or writing to the next of kin, and threatening them with being sued ( clientco didn't want the car back except as a last resort ). I lasted about a day and a half.
* Least Favourite Celebrity :
Quite a lot of them are annoying, but I think Jordan wins the prize.
* Most embarrassing outfit :
I think it had to be the Tesco uniform from my pre uni job. I still feel a twinge of pity whenever I pass one of their staff.
* Character trait you hate the most :
Scheming people. Stop empire building and get a life.
* Worst place you've ever visited :
Morroco. Ick!

Worst Job:
Filing fabric type samples used on paper making machines in a Northern factory.
Least Favourite Celebrity:
Anthea Turner ( a prime example of British tottie gone wrong wrong wrong ....)
Most embarrassing outfit:
Klu Klux Klan (like) ghost styled costume out on parade in the streets.
Character trait you hate the most:
Two faced people and especially when you find them out and they know and they're still carrying on the pretence of being nice to you (grrrrrrr happned in my last job, I think he had split personality disorder).
Worst place you've ever visited:
Hounslow (the end of the World) or maybe a frightening Slough business park back in the 1990s don't know which of the two was really the worst.

1. Shelf Stacking at a large Supermarket that begins with the letter T. I did two stints at that before I finished University.
2. None. But I don't have a favourite either. I am ambivalent towards celebrities.
3. None. I have too much self respect.
4. People that need to vocalise every thought that goes through their head. SHUT UP! I DON'T CARE.
5. Germany.

Worst Job
Double-glazing salesman for a day (after a week's training).
Out in the field, on my own, I just couldn't bring myself to hardsell an OAP that she needed 17K of replacement windows.
This was due to the fact of her age, her existing windows were absolutely fine, and the fact that at 84, she probably wouldn't be around long enough to get a lot of enjoyment out of them anyway.
Least Favourite Celebrity
Paul O'Grady - His accent gets on my nerves
Eddie Izzard - He meanders too much and goes off on too many tangents
Hugh Grant - For being Hugh Grant irrespective of the film
Most embarrassing outfit
None (Though Mrs BGG may beg to differ)
Character trait you hate the most
Three equal contenders.
People who ring you up at the last minute and cancel an event.
People who seem unable to just "give you the facts", and instead waffle on with trivial superfluous information.
People who are afraid of stepping outside their own comfort zones.
Worst place you've ever visited
Any stereotypical chav "nightclub" on a Friday / Saturday night.
Harrogate for being more depressing than Slough (which I deliberately pronouce as SLOO-GEE, because it has a wonderful onomatopoeia that seems appropriate with the place in general)Last edited by Board Game Geek; 18 October 2008, 14:26.

Doing tight-deadline spreadsheet/database development in a sodden soulless industrial estate. A student, out of my depth, and had to wait about an hour at the freezing deserted railway station to get home.- Least Favourite Celebrity

- Handmade swimming trunks (Made by my Nan) that turned into a soggy hammock after they got wet, I was 11 years old and it scarred me for life .
- Too soft on people with sob stories.

Worst Job
Working in a food distribution warehouse in Welwyn Garden City. The only good bit was driving the little fork-lift buggies around. Everything else was mind-numbingly boring.
Least Favourite Celebrity
No idea - too many to choose from. Anyone with no talent/skill/nothing of consequence to add to the world.
Most embarrassing outfit
I was going to say the 'St Trinians style' 6th form girl's school uniform I wore out clubbing - but it's probably the Borat thong.
Character trait you hate the most
A misplaced notion of superiority.
Worst place you've ever visited
Hilbrow, Johannesburg.

2 - Jordan / Jade Goody / Russell Brand / Kevin Keegan (if he counts) / Alan F'ing Shearer. I don't have a favourite celebrity, just a list of "celebrities" that I hate even more than the others.
3 - None.
4 - Dunno.
5 - I hate London. Basingstoke, Bracknell and Slough come pretty close for grimness, but I really cannot stand London at all.

* Worst place you've ever visited
Brighton, by miles.
*** Once worked at a place that employed an ace salesman. Problem was, he just HAD to have done stuff nobody else had. He just HAD to have life experiences nobody else had. One day he tried his "I Have Had SUCH An Amazing Life Experience" on me and a colleague:
Ever been so distraught at being dumped by your girlfriend in New York that you wanted to kill yourself?
Ever had to hold your best friend's hand whilst the paramedics pumped his heart through an opening in his chest?
Ever gambled your life savings on a complete no-hoper nag, only for it to win you thousands?
Ever done the SAS endurance entrance fitness course on the Brecon Beacons, only to pass it and then tell 'em no thanks, not tough enough?
My reply was, I will check my diary, but I don't think so this week.

Graham Norton - talentless loudmouthed muppet!
Used to have to wear a kilt to all the birthday parties in early Primary School. Have one now mind you, but back then it was not high on my priorities although it did work, as far as invites went!!
Two-faced people. Would rather people said what they think than stab one in the back.
Slovakia - Once drove from Poland to Hungary with a Yank mate of mine. I drove and he slept, and I told him I would wake him up if I saw anything worthwhile. Woke him only once, and we stopped for a MacDonalds! Utter hole of a place, no wonder the Czech Republic jettisoned it!!
