I hope the Tories will repeal that stupid Human Rights Act that Tony Blair incorporated into British Law !!!! It was one of just many terrible decisions that he and his corrupt cronies made.

The system of locking them up until they die seems the best to me: better than hanging them, as that seems to be regarded as martyrdom by their invariably bearded pals.Comment

The Iranian terrorist should be sent back to Iran. If Iran was giving asylum a terrorist wanted by the British there would be wide-spread condemnation. Already the UK seems to handing out asylum to terrorists and criminals like one would hand out sweeties. The USA is almost, but not as bad as the UK as they gave asylum to plane hijackers and bombers of Cuba"A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment

If it had not been brought in there would not be any interpretation to consider, and thus the guy would be deported. Therefore the obvious solution is to abolish/repeal the Act of Parliament that the incompetent Blair introduced.Comment

Heavens above, you really are scraping the barrel. Of course political asylum existed, but it was not forced on us to allow it for everybody that has broken our laws. 10% of our prisons are now filled with foreigners and we have to keep them in the UK when we release them because of this HR ACT. It is daft and so are you Sir.Comment

I believe that once a person has committed a terrorist act that he has broken the conditions for having refugee statues and he should be sent back to his own country.
I would much rather see an overhaul of the Judicial system in the UK so theses cases do not get as far as Court. Any sensible country would just throw the guy and people like him out
The down side in these cases is that the Labour government has actively interfered in the refugee status of terrorists and politicians from other countries escaping from justice. David Blunkett was a prime example of a politician who handed out British Passport to persons of “His own interest” To know the reasons why it is best to search in Google as I don’t want to be accused of being anti-semitic on this forum because that would be far from the truth."A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment
