There must be someone in his crew that is kind enough to tell him to call it a day and go to the Queen to ask her to dissolve parliament.
He's bringing back the oldies because
a) He's shoving it in their faces that he's now their boss
b) He knows that they don't pose any credible leadership threat (not that he's a credible leader)
c) He knows that compared to them he's a knight in shining armour ('cause his mate Tony told him so)
d) There is NO new talent
Be prepared for him to bring back David Blunkett.
It's Deja-vu all over again!

Maybe the Russians will loan us Kim Philby's body too.How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

I did wonder about Jackboot Blunkett and Fatso safety elephant Clarke, but I think they have blotted their copybooks by being too outspoken against him.Originally posted by KathyWoolfe View Post.....

This is real desperation. He hates Mandelson.
But if it somehow keeps Brown as prime minister until the general election, the other parties won't complain.

Will he be doing both jobs and getting both salaries?Originally posted by cojak View PostHave they kicked him out of the European Parliament?Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

Mandelson was a commissioner not an MEP.Originally posted by cojak View PostHave they kicked him out of the European Parliament?
I'm surprised he WANTS to come back given the gravy train he must've been riding in Brussels.

People like him can't help themselves - it's like fatso Clarke still being under the crazy misapprehension that anyone gives a tulip what he thinks about anything.Originally posted by KathyWoolfe View PostMandelson was a commissioner not an MEP.
