An interesting life. Book written in 1966 and he died in 1985. He attempted to go to Tibet shortly after the Chinese takeover, though didn't make it. Attended a party in China given by Mao et al. Saw 3 nukes go off: Two at Operation Crossroads, Able and Baker, followed by Totem 1 at Operation Totem at Emu Fields, Australia.
