The objective of such attempts is to test response system of the opponent and the smart opponent won't be showing all the cards, they'd prefer the potential opponent to think that they penetrated the zone been unseen. I don't think US Airforce is short of fuel - unlike British or Russian.

Yes, they trail all the way because it prevents from allowing the opponent to test boundaries of detection. As I said those big airplanes that can only be based in a few airfields get tracked from the moment they get radio clearance to take off, do you really think if Google Earth can show your car on free site then US Military can't do the same for all huge airplanes like those?

What makes you the expert on Russian military hardware? I'm not, I'm only asking how you 'know so much' because I can assure you, unless you were ex Russian Air Force or FSB or KGB or whatever then you're pissing in the wind. How do you know they haven't perfected this.

I am an expert on Russian leadership. They are liars, scumbags and generally persons whose hands should only be touched by coroners who make an autospy (preferably while they are still alive) to understand what made their brains so perverse and inhuman.

I am not expert on Russian military hardware, even though I've spent considerable time learning it - FYI in Soviet schools assembly of AK-47 was part of curriculum. I've learnt RAF circle airplane ID in those lessons in school. My sister did not get medal in school only because she did not throw hand grenade far enough to get an A. These small examples show just how militarised Soviet (and now again Russian) indocrtination was.

So I think, all considered, I've got pretty good knowledge of hardware but more important people who run the country - that general quoted is either a liar or a crimínal (for allowing nuclear capable bomber to attempt approach airspace in stealth - that could be deemed as sign of attack you know), that's pretty much the only 2 options for Russian and Soviet leadership.
