No I'm not saying open boarders at all.

I'm just saying the argument of "stealing our jobs" isn't always valid, as in this case. Cause there's not one kid in the country who would work in a stinking Indian kitchen on Friday and Saturday nights, who wasn't already born into it. So if those jobs are going spare, then they'd stay spare.

The working philosophy of people in this country is "why do a job like that when I can get paid for sitting on my a&se" and we all know it. So why lie about people stealing our jobs?! It's pathetic.

The services point was slightly valid, although I'm not sure on how easy it is for illegal immigrants to get our NHS services....when you register with a doctor dont you have to provide all sorts of ID and stuff? NI numbers? Passports? Previous doctors names? (I know I had to do that when I registered with my doctor 2 years ago).

And what other services are "they" a drain on?

I just think people whinge about "immigrants" cause they're brainwashed into thinking they're the bogey man (no offence Bogeyman).

We have plenty of Brits of Asian decent who are out of work who would liek a decent job.

I know quite a few young non asian lads who want to go into catering who would love the chance to work in a good Indian kitchen. It is mostly a closed (some would say racist) shop.

I have visted both. Family from Ashington and college mates from Sunderland. Worked in the Castle and lived in Whitley bay. I love the toon centre.

Does anyone else think we ought to spend money preventing guys like this entering rather than letting them all in then spending millions on a fandabedozie fingerprint system?

Doesn't it seem like locking the stable door after the horse has bolted?

As I said, none of it in any way justifies the government demanding my fingerprints and controlling my identity for me.

You clearly don't understand the NL way. All illegal immigrants currently in the UK will get amnesty (much like knives and handguns, only you don't have to hand them in to the police). By doing that, the illegal immigrant count is set to zero and they will have the stats to prove a reduction in numbers.
