I think we'll have to wait & see.....Souness must first be put out to pasture, but the problem is that Shearer is likely to step up once he's finished his coaching courses.

It appears that Shearer got Owen, rather than Souness, and they are making a meal of the fact.

This is only a personal view, but if a club keeps undermining its managers, no-one is going to look good there.

They might as well keep Souness. They are lucky to have him.
