Looks like it must have been scampering about when the pile shifted and it were decapitated.
Threaded, did you attend a good school?

That's a relief. I was a little concerned about Liverpool having a striker who can score.

        Darren,
Newcastle United will never win anything with those clowns at the top, and especially while the centre forward holds more sway with the board than their succession of managers. Michael Owen would double the number of good, disciplined professionals at that club.

Very true, which is why I'm very happy he's joined.....perhaps he can set a good example to some of our younger players and several of the seasoned pro's!

Just need the big guy at the top to resign and Souness to be replaced by an experienced manager and we'd be flying....honest!!

Just a bit concerned about the "get out clauses" that are in his contract!

Alan Shearer won't resign until he breaks the record - he's a selfish twat!

Which top manager in the UK is a likely suspect? I can't think of any, unless Newcastle are prepared to give Curbishley a go, but he's hardly a star name.

I think we'll have to wait & see.....Souness must first be put out to pasture, but the problem is that Shearer is likely to step up once he's finished his coaching courses.

Shearer has a level head and he's responsible enough to make a decent manager, but whether he has managerial talent is another matter. And with no experience, how wise is it to give him a big club like Newcastle to play with? Even Mourinho and Fergie started with smaller clubs.

How about a Shearer/Robson double act, with Shearer taking over eventually (shades of Liverpool and Charlton).
