I don't mind it being taught in school as part of Religious Studies.
After all intelligent kids should know how others think.
But as "Intelligent Design" in Science, absolutely not.

Liberal christianity has its own belief structures regarding salvation, sin etc, as compared to evangelical christianity. The term "liberal" has a specific meaning wrt Christianity.

For example, in the Anglican debates about women priests, the split was not along liberal/evangelical lines. Many liberals were opposed, many evangelicals in favour. Most anglo-catholics were opposed though.
