Has anybody else noticed that everything Cyberman asserts is introduced with such phrases as "I think...", "I believe...", "It seems to me...", "I've heard that...", "I read somewhere that...", "A friend of mine...", 'I'm told that...", "It's obvious to me that...", "You can't deny it when I say that...", et cetera, et cetera, ad nauseam, ad infinitum.
However, I don't recall a single occasion when he has presented an argument based on actual facts, as established by recognised research, with an explication of - or, even better, link to [1] - the original research that justifies his assertions.
Has there ever been such an occasion?
Not that I expect intellectual rigour or anything... well, not any more
[1] And no, linking to the Daily Mail web site - or even The Grauniad web site - doesn't count.
