    Man made global warming

    Nah, can't be bothered.

Watched "Earth under water" on Nat Geo tonight.

60M rise in sea levels by the end of the century if global warming and loss of glacial ice and polar ice continues to accelerate at present levels.

Glad my house is well above the predicted new shoreline

global warming has been rebranded because of the Trade Descriptions Act; it's now called climate change

Don't you mean 60 cm (which is still double the estimates I've seen).

            sure it wasn't 6 m ?

it was 20 feet in Imperial AGW flooding units.

60m - blooming heck thats 6m a decade, if it started in 2000, as they claim ,we'd all be swimming by now

According to A 20th century acceleration in global sea-level rise (2006):

If this acceleration remained constant then the 1990 to 2100 rise would range from 280 to 340 mm, consistent with projections in the IPCC TAR.
So 30 cm, or 0.3 metres.

Up to 60m according to the scientists on "Earth Under Water"

Sea levels have risen by 1/2 inch in the past eight years, loss of Ice/melting is doubling every year due to warming and attrition of Ice shelf & Glacier edge due to warmer seas.

Can't be bothered to do the maths, work it out yourself.

When you were diving, did you ever get out of your depth ?

do you ever see fishies swimming around you with funny lights on their heads ?
