Geordie Builders are Nails
I like the Northern no nonsense approach where necessary.
I was part of the effluent disgorging from London Bridge one morning and I noticed a row going on in front of me. Some mincing quentin had obviously told off this construction worker for smoking (this was before the ban) and the builder type (who was Geordie and wearing a hard hat) responded by calling him a 'soft southern @rsehole' and flicked his fag butt at him. Which part did you visit? I work in Hammersmith; I can't bring to mind any northern town (Rochdale excepted, naturally) that depressed me as much as Hammersmith does. High Wycombe's a craptastic deungeon, too.
