I stopped running; it was boring and my shins hurt, I always ended up in the same place where i'd started feeling knackered; couldn't see the benefit.
The gym's much better, still boring but my joints won't be as buggered in later life.B00med!Comment

Anyone read "Supersquats"? It's an interesting, if very, very padded-out book. Basically, do 20 squats, 3 times per week, drink loads of skimmed milk, and raise the weight by 5lb each session. Result: either death (joke), or incredible fitness. I did it 20 years back, and stopped "owing to studies". In reality, it was just very punishing and I got lazy about it. Wish I'd kept it up. The results were staggering.Comment

Also if you exercise with other people you won't get bored."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
