After a Nuclear War with Russia. The eruption of a Giant volcano; brought on by the nuclear detonations, will accelerate Global Warming & cause a Credit crunch.
Radiation will cause the bird flu virus to mutate and become airborne, this will turn into a pandemic virus like the world has never experienced before.
Too many immigrants trying to escape the worst effects of the fallout and Credit Crunch; will spread the virus worldwide.
Civilization will finally be destroyed when the sinister Dr Evil (AndyW) causes a Giant Meteor to crash into Wall street, causing the greatest house price crash the world has ever seen.

You missed gamma ray burst, nearby supernova, La Palma dropping into the sea thereby destroying the Eastern seaboard of the US, nuclear winter triggering snowball earth, Saberhagen style berserker, part 2 of the alien invasion

Plus stranglets/black holes. Strictly speaking none of the given poll options would destroy the Earth. Boomed! (for single celled lifeforms, the most successful orgasms). Once we have sent them to the stars, they will have no further use for us...<evil bacteria laugh>Originally posted by NotAllThere View PostYou missed gamma ray burst, nearby supernova, La Palma dropping into the sea thereby destroying the Eastern seaboard of the US, nuclear winter triggering snowball earth, Saberhagen style berserker, part 2 of the alien invasion
