Oh, the planet isn't even warming, so that makes the whole argument of whether the climate is warming due to human activity meaningless....

So the real question is "Has the world gone a bit pear shaped?"

I don't see how you can ever get a non-biased answer to a lot of these problems. Research will always favour one side of the argument and the other side will always have a counter argument as to why that research is invalid. Such is the way of the world. Another prime example would be the MMR / Autism scandal. Who can you trust ??
It is better to be silent and thought of a fool, than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt.

The government funded scientists where the conclusion of the report doesn't even stack up over time.

Needs to be multiple choice poll since there is some truth and carp on all sides IMO.

                My stance basically:
                • Climate change happens, something is always behind the change and man may be it this time
                • The climate would change anyway, one way or another.
                • The models are almost certainly carp and could be completely overturned IMO
                • It's not great science since little effort goes into disproving/discrediting the theory or models. It shares some similarities to a belief system here.
                • There's little or no research done into the real and un-PC causes of and solutions to climate change, i.e. population growth and agriculture
                • All economically obtainable oil will be used regardless
                • Little research is done into the positive affects of warming climate. All is doom and gloom

Well according to the Global Warming evangelists that won't be needed soon, it will happen spontaneously.

Have you considered the CO2 footprint of burning heretics?
