    Lunchbreak now and all quiet.

It was strange mix of jack hammer and vacuuming sounds.

    Blue skies and sunny.

Cold in the shade but warm in the sun.

    Compressor just started up nearby.

No peace and quiet today then.

It's trying to snow here on the mainland. Bit of a pathetic attempt really. Looks like it's going more up than down.

Bath chair - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It is so named from its origin in Bath, England,[1] and possibly also after its similarity in appearance to an old-fashioned bathtub.
I never knew that. I always thought it was the shape of the things.

I don't think I have ever seen one in real life.

In fact I'd never heard of them until one Christmas when one featured in a Dennis The Menace annual.

The sun has come out and it's a brilliant blue sky.

The local restaurants have put tables and chairs out, with rugs.

Plan B accomplice reports he has gout, not a broken toe.
